Espresso Machine Repair

Repairing espresso machines and portafilter machines takes precision — and that’s exactly how we work in our workshop in Munich. Because when espresso is great, many factors have to work together: temperature and pressure must be right, components need to be sealed properly, and the electrics have to be reliable. If your machine suddenly acts up, gets unusually loud, leaks water, or the extraction no longer looks right, that’s not only annoying — it’s often hard to pinpoint.

We help you clearly identify the cause — realistically, transparently, and without unnecessary technical jargon. Many issues develop gradually: a small leak, a tired pump, a faulty switch, or a component that no longer functions properly. It can easily feel like “everything is broken,” even though the defect can often be fixed in a targeted way.

That’s why our goal isn’t the fastest possible solution at any cost, but a repair that makes sense in the long run — carried out cleanly and explained transparently. This way, after the repair you can rely on your machine again. It’s important to us that you feel well taken care of: you should understand what’s going on, what your options are, and what to expect. We give honest advice and will also tell you if a repair isn’t cost-effective. As a specialist workshop for portafilter machines in Munich, we support you with diagnosis, repair, and the safe testing of your espresso machine.

You’ll find an overview of how our repair intake works below. If you briefly describe what’s wrong in your request (e.g., noise, leak, temperature, extraction issues, or power/electrics), we can assess the issue more accurately.

Repair means sustainability

Did you know that coffee drinkers replace their machine on average after just 4 years? In most cases, a repair at a local workshop is the far more affordable and sustainable solution.

  • Longer use means less plastic and electronic waste.
  • No unnecessary packaging waste.
  • Lower-emission logistics because the repair is done locally near you — not shipped across Germany.
  • No additional CO₂ emissions from manufacturing a new machine.
  • You save money that you can put to better use.
